Hi:
I have had my 3 since 2014, bought it with 58k on the clock and now up to 114k. Had a few problems over the years, brake light switch causing the usual dash light faults, etc. I am wondering if any one else has knowledge of this ongoing fault. Engine block light came on some time ago, checked with OB11 code reader (P140a) L/Hand EGR valve fault. Other than the light on the dash no other problems encountered, I must of covered aprox' 1000miles before I got round to changing the EGR valves.
EGR valves replaced, this now happens: within a couple of miles the dreaded fault alarm. Orange hand brake light, orange warning triangle light, orange suspension light. Info' window = Hand brake fault, DSC fault, suspension fault, suspension lowered, limited gears and large F displayed. Stop the car, turn ignition off for a few seconds - turn key back on and all clear for another few miles. check with the OBD11 and no faults recorded. I am aware through these forums there are a number of things that cause these symptoms. How ever this is what I find puzzling, if I disconnect either EGR valve (unplug) I can run the vehicle for hundreds of miles with no problems.
Thoughts and advise would be welcome.

Not sure about the EGR portion, but can you view live data (particularly voltage) while driving?

Hi,
I went to Sicily for a few days and experienced, lights on the Dash, lowered on it own and also couldn't drive, I panicked a little being out of the country, I switched off and then on again and gave me a few more miles, the second time that did it I have disconnected the battery and waited for a few mins. all reset and kept going for a few more miles. What in your professional knowledge could this fault be? I thank you in advance.
