Anyone wishing to repair their OEM wheel winch fitted under the rear of the car?
Contact me and I will send a PDF document explaining how to repair it at no cost to anyone. All of us owners like to enjoy our Land Rovers without parting with heaps of cash.:drive:
Its not only the cable that kinks, the shaft can be damaged very easily as well. My repair will show how to get around the problem. Good luck from Oz.

G'day Jabbamines1,
Do you still want the procedure for the wheel winch repair? If you do, just email me and I'll send a copy.

Timing couldn't be better! Discovered last evening that my winch won't actually pull my wheel up - though it will hold it.
New to this forum; what do need from me to send pdf?

Hi Oz Chris I have a Disco 3 2007 and the usual cable issue.
Could you please e-mail me the info to repair it?
My husband has taken it out now he wants to repair it. Thanks.
