Spoke to soon. Looks like I need a new distributer. Have been quoted £400!!! CXan any one help me out with a 2nd hand one. It's a 3.5 V8 on a 1985 range rover. Help!! Perhaps it was not such abargain after all.

Well:
Try to locate a second hand one.Even with a damaged distibutor, you're still with a struck deal with that rover.I wish I can help you out, as I have a second hand parts supplier here in Florida, but don't know if they might be able to ship to UK.Anyways call them and find out.Their website is www.roversland.com I have posted it a couple times...
I wish they could give me a discount or so for bringing more LR owners to their business.Will think about it too.

Thanks for that site. Managed to find one tonight. In the back of LRO magazine. Some one breaking a 1986 model. £25 including postage. Bargain. The V8 plan is back on schedule. :drive:
