just fish around in the bottom of the converter housing with a magnet on an extendable rod - you will have it out in a few minutes

I guess I got lucky and this info may help someone else so I'll add. This morning i stuck the magnet in and fished around without any luck. I decided to turn the crank a bit to maybe shake it loose. Anyhow I turned it just a bit and out popped the bolt right on the ground. Hopefully if this ever happens to you it's worth a shot. All that swearing and worrying I did for nothing lol
