I just bought a 2003 discovery w/ 20k miles on it last week and absolutly love it! Unfortunatly I'm away at college and can't ring it until next year, but anyways...Land Rover's website said they're ending prodution of the discovery, thats too bad I was looking forward to my next one already!! I know the LR3 is actually discovery 3, just named LR3 in north america, but will that end of prodocution affect getting parts or service on our discos? just wondering...

No,

A Land Rover does not fade away, it goes out to the new frontiers.

Land Rover will continue to support us, and we are their future. I wish they would be more involved here and listen to us. Together we can do more and enjoy more.

Maybe somebody could drop an invitation to LandRover please? Tell them that they are welcome. Maybe then they could sell more by rewarding us as loyal owners. If I do some overtime, I would like a new one and give my 96 to my father. He wont say it but he loves it also.
