Thanks for all the tips in advance. We've got a 04 Disco in the lot that needs an engine(oh big surprise). Also have an 01 that is trash. The engine is good out of the 01 but it is the 4.0l. The 04 has the 4.6 but i cannot find a motor for it anywhere.

My question is this, can the 4.0l be put into the 04 without any major problems? We have the ECM and the harness for the 4.0l. The transmissions need to be compatible as the trans out of the 01 is garbage.

Direct plug and play with no real changes needing to be made, except you will need to swap out your MAF and intake hose to the 04.
