From the Owners Manual, it seems that I must use 91 Octane at a minimum, in my 01DISCO. That said, being a used car, is it OK to use fuel injector cleaners, octane boost?

How about Restore, during our first oil change?

Thanks,

I use, and I have lots of friends that you gas additives like Sea Foam and B&G's 44K in our fuel with good results. Oil additives like Lucas and others are a plus for cutting wear, some of the engine flushes are great for cutting carbon build up.

Ditto on the Redline, one bottle/150gallons of fuel, synthetic oil, have never needed to "clean" the engine, ... no hesitation, no sludge, smooth idle, good power/mileage at 72,000miles. Personally I believe in prevention. Oh yes, also floor it on an on-ramp occasionally ("Italian tune-up").
