Engine stalls while driving
1999 NZ-new, TDI, ?Series I
I'm new to this forum, and have scanned for my specific problem, but think it'd be best to describe what's going on with my trusty Series I, automatic.
Earlier this week, engine started quietly stalling, for no apparent reason. It currently restarts after 10 mins or so. Battery light comes on when engine cuts out. Battery is less than two years old, and I've ascertained it's not at fault. Auto electrician checked for electrical issues, no fault found there either. Had car fully serviced this week. Again, no fault found.
Now wondering if it could be a fuel pump issue, or could something less costly be playing up? Any advice would be appreciated!
