Can any one suggest the right error code reader for use with a Disco II 99?

Any OBD-II reader will work to read engine codes only. If you want to read ABS/SRS codes you'll have to step up to a more full-function reader like the Autel AL619. I'm sure there are others that will work but this is the one I use and I can confirm 100% that it works. Listed at $160 on Amazon.
