Hi Everyone,
I'm new here, so please excuse any etiquette failures on my part.
So, it looks like the fan on my wife's 2008 LR2 SE has given up the ghost. We had the classic symptoms of AC not working at low speeds/stops, and intermittent overheating around the same. The mechanics bypassed the control module to test it, and it was dead. I don't doubt their diagnosis, but I'm curious to know what others may have paid to have their fan assemblies replaced by dealer or independent shop. The shop is highly recommended on Yelp, and so far, they're easy to work with, but I just want to make sure that $1,300+ is fair for parts and labor for this job.
