Last spring I mounted Firestone M/Ts on my Disco. On-road performance and noise levels were acceptable along with mud and dirt trails. But a few weeks ago I did some fairly challenging rock crawling and they did not hold up. I found severe chipping and tearing on all four tires. None of the other members of my club found damage on their tires like I did (Dunlaps, Superswampers, ect.).
I initially liked the tires because of the aggresive sidewall tread; but whats the point if that tread rips off when you need it! :complain:
The pictures show the type of rock we were crawling on.
I hope this info helps future tire buyers :drink1:
