I bought this Discovery back in September as a project car with the intention of restoring it but an opportunity came up earlier than expected and I have to make a hard choice.
I bought it with the slipping cylinder seals and found a retired LR mech with his own shop in Belmar, NJ to build me a new engine from scratch. Currently there's just under 2,000 miles on the new engine and 116,000 on the odometer. I replaced the front drive shaft with new greasable shaft. New TerraFirma shocks and springs w/ 2" lift kit and misc. other things. Inspection was just done in October so it's good for another Year and 7 months.
I currently only have it posted on Craigslist and can PM more pics if needed.
I'm in Essex county in northern NJ (Verona 07044) and am asking $7,300 but there's definitely room to negotiate.
