Did some one do that before? what it needs to make the ECU work for me?

Is that have Immobilizer ? I can't find the wiring diagram anywhere ... can someone help in this.

It has been done, there are a few write ups out there on swapping the FI into older rovers. Unfortunately I'm not much help as I don't know much about GEMS. I'm more of a old school 14cux guy.

I'd ask at the Defender Source Forum. Someone there has likely done it.

FWIW, the 4.6 isn't known for its reliability (I've had 2 fail). You might consider other options?
