Running down back of the engine. No codes. Rover runs fine. Anyone had this happen?
On which side are you finding the coolant? If it's the driver's side (LHD) it could be the throttle body heater leaking and the coolant running along the valve cover to the rear.

Otherwise, the headgaskets often leak at the rear. There's a water passage there from the block to the head, and the gasket is very narrow there (maybe 1/8" to 3/16").

check all cooling system hoses. leak could be anywhere and depending on how vehicle is parked, coolant is finding its way down there. I just had this happen with my 1990 RRC. it was a hose clamp under plenum.
