Always wanted a Rover, started my search about a year ago for the "perfect one" for me. Local LR dealer (Plaza Motors) sales manager called a week ago and said "you gotta see this one, just came in an hour ago". Went in the next morning to check it out. 2008 LR3 HSE, lower mileage, previously used as a grocery getter, all maintenance and warranty work looked good.
At the end of the quick test drive I hand the keys back to the sales manager and he hands them back to me and said to take it for a couple of days to really get a good feel for it!
By Wednesday I was back and yelling "TAKE MY MONEY, PLEASE!"
getting used to the quirks of this thing (and shining the paint back up to almost perfect condition).
my plans are to use this as intended: get some decent 18" wheels and tires and hit some trails.
Hopefully someday I'll get a chance to run into some other of you enthusiasts :beer:
