Handbrake light flashes intermittently?

Hi there,

My Disco 2 has started flashing the handbrake warning light at me on an intermittent basis.

H/B operation is fine and light comes on with ignition and off when H/B put into off position, just blinks when stationary or under most road conditions.

Fluid level is fine in thre brake reservoir.

Any ideas, before I rip out the dash?

Thanks, will give that a go too. When you say centre console do you mean around the auto gearbox lever?
