Ok bought a new d2 .. Well it's a 2001.. It's my second one sitting in drive now.. Question is the steering is super stiff.. Get a little easier as I drive it.. I replaced pump but didn't s seem to help.. What should I look to next?

Not being a mechanic couple of things I would check especially if I had just bought it would be to check the drive belt is it turning the pump. Check the power steering reservoir to see if the fluid is circulating in the reservoir. (When I look at my reservoir it looks like the fluid is spinning). If it is not then has it been bled, the rave manual explains this on page 57-18. Any air in the system will make it hard.

Soak the UJ with WD40 for the beginning... though as said if the fluid is not circulating hard in the tank the pump is not delivering, did you bleed the system as in the book?
