Hey y'all! I'm in the process of replacing the head gaskets in my 2000 LR Discovery II 128,000 miles. I got the kit from Atlantic British, head bolts, magnacore wires, water pump gasket, serpentine belt, and just got the heads back from the machine shop today, valve job and ready to go. However I still have a few questions for you pros out there.

1. Whats the best way to clean the intake manifold?
2. Does anyone have a parts list of the extra parts that come in the eurospare head gasket kit from AB? (fuel injector o rings?)
3. What are the best spark plugs to run?
4. What motor oil do you recommend? 128,000 miles
5. Any other parts that I should replace at this point? (without spending $$$$)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Nic Mingie

Go to British Parts of Utah, they have a great price on their head gasket set including bolts for around $160. At the same time, if you have not replaced your plug wires with 8 mm silicone wires, buy a set of STI's also from them along with a new 180 degree t/stat, a new coolant recover cap and a air filter if you need it.
Consider running a set of E-3 # 48 plugs, they come with a 5 year warranty and do give more low end torque.
I always recommend either a Mobil1-301 or an K&N 3001 along with Shell Rotella T-6.
Do you have a shop manual?oil.
