ok upon start up i get some smoke blue smelly uburnt diesel smell with a odd miss hear and there it all clears up withing a couple of min but once on the motor way any thing much over hafe throttle it holds back from 55mph to 35-40 as u ease off the throttle u can feel it pull again :dunno: ..

Just a rough guess, but have you checked the air filter lately.

Most diesels start with a puff of smoke, but the amount you're describing sounds excessive. Have you ever rebuilt/replaced your injectors?

The power loss when opening the throttle further is your injection pump. It sounds like it's bypassing. Time for a rebuild or the bin there too. I suggest you book yourself in for a visit to the diesel spa.
