I have a T reg Freelander. Last week, whilst driving home, the engine lost power. I managed to correct it at first, then it stalled on me and would not start. The RAC could find nothing wrong and the car started again.
1 mile down the road, it did it again - stalled at 55mph and would not start. After about 10 mins it started and the RAC towed me home.
My local Landrover garage cannot find anything wrong.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or knows what could be wrong with my car.

:dunno:

This could be a shot in the dark but it could be the coil on the way out. It's working while the temperature of the coil is low, but as it increases due to engine heat, it breaks down, causing the vehicle to stop and not re-start until it cools down. This would explain why the mechanics cannot find fault while the coil is relatively cool.
