I see people posting some hi-res looking pics in low sizes. My friend that usually helps me with things like this is away and would like to know if what programs or what you are using to resize your images is.

Adobe Photoshop if you have it

I usually reduce my images to 7" wide (in horizontal format) and (depends on original image size in Mb or Kb) at low res around 3 to keep image size below 60Kb.

you could also post them on a free image hosting site and then include the IMG tag with your post.

Photobucket goes ahead and automatically resizes imagez over 260kb i think so that will suit you fine
