Hey everyone - brand new member here. I have enjoyed my 1967 Series IIa for a while now, so I'm thinking of getting an '04 Disco for my everyday car. I've been doing the research and I'm aware of most of the common headaches (e.g. frame rot, cylinder sleeve slippage, three amigos, etc.), but I have a more general question.

Did all 2004 Disco's come with the raised "LAND ROVER" emblem on the front lip of the hood? I'm looking at a 2004 done in Epsom Green, but the emblem is missing. If they were always included by LR, then the Disco (or at least the hood) must have been repainted at some point if its missing, right?

I'm looking forward to all the helpful replies ;)

Thanks guys!
