I'm looking to buy the hose kit replacement from AB...how the heck do I know if I have a water valve or not? It's a '95 LWB with the 4.2L V8.

To find the water valve look at the 2 heater supply hoses over the valve cover on the passenger side. If NO valve, then 2 hoses will go to the firewall direct into the heater core.

If you have the valve it will look like this ...Heater Control Valve - Land Rover switches/control unit/actuators from Atlantic British
and will be between the firewall(heater core) and the 2 supply hoses.

Looks like this....

Land Rover Workshop Manuals > Range Rover Classic > 80 - HEATING AND VENTILATION > REPAIR > VACUUM SWITCH - WATER VALVE
