ok, stupid question, just bought a 02 LR Discovery and got it home to change brakes(they are squeeling) and I cant seem to get the lugs off. I put the wrench on and jumped up on it, but they won't budge, I also hit them with my impact wrench... any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drive:

USE THE BAR FROM THE JACK TO MAKE AN EXTENSION.
ive had the same prob , as i dont weigh more than a 120.
and it dosent help that the lugs are torqued at 95 lb.

Usa a long breaker bar or a long pipe (like the handle of a hi-lift jack).

A tyre fitter had to use a 5 foot long spanner ( wrench ) to get mine loose, and he struggled. I broke my wheel brace trying.
