I just got a set of original land rover running boards (part# stc50030 lw)
they came with no instructions and the brackets loose. I cant figure out which bracket goes where and where these little plasctic covers go.....

any help or pictures greatly apperciated......

one last thing they came without mounting hardware, does any one know what size nuts, bolts are comparable and can be picked up at home depot or loews

thanks again

What yr Disco???? I just put a new set on and it was pretty simple. They use the frame bolts on each side. I still have the directions. Even if they are not the same,it might help. P.S. My Disco is a 2004 :D

I'm having the same problem with my 2003 disco except that I got my running boards used and they only came with the brackets on the passenger side, no hardware. I called the dealer only to find out that the passenger side brackets are available( I ordered them new with hardware) but the driver side brackets (which I need) are no longer available. I received the passenger side brackets with the hardware but it came with a lot of hardware and I have no idea how to install them. If anybody can help me locating the driver side brackets and any help with installation instructions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanking you all in advance for your help.

actually if you look up the LR main site they is a spot for looking up online drivers manuals and directions on how to install various running boards and lites. ITs not easy directions but its the same we get as techs.

its an off shoot of our GTR site for customers.
