Trying to clean up the Disco a bit I used some degreaser on the engine, waited a few minutes and lightly sprayed it off with the hose. I crank her up and guess what, it's missing now and running like...doodie, to put it nicely.

It better be running well again in the morning after whatever I got wet dries out. Grrrrrrrrrrrr...

First degreaser when applied to any electrical connection can screw up the works. That being said, what color are your plug wires, if they are grey, in other word original, they will cause bad misfire cause when old water will make them short to the block at which time you need to install some 8 mm STI plug wires to make it run much better.

Thanks, and yes, they are grey. 8mm coming in 2 days though...already ordered. :) And I took her out for a spin after letting her sit for a spell while I taped and coated the fender flares with bedliner. She's running fine again, but the service engine soon light won't go off.

LOL! While it sounds like a hoot, I think I'd rather try that on YOUR vehicle or someone else's. If you're ever down close to SOuth Louisisana, let me know. I'll buy the beer. ;)

If you want any guidance on installing the new wires, shout.
