I keep having a problem with my ignition. The problem is when I pull the key everything is fine so I exit and lock the door with only to have someone tell me my alarm is going off. I try to unlock the car but it's slow to unlock and when I finally get inside it says "key in ignition" but it's not. I can bang on the steering column and it will stop. This seems like it keeps getting worse. Is there something I can do? Maybe pull the ignition module or something? Has anyone else ever had this problem. I already spent thousands of dollars in January of this year and would hate to have to bring it back to the dealer ship, the last time they broke my key and didn't even fess up to it.
