hi everyone,im new here and i dont own Land Rover,but my dad does,and the reason he owns it cuz of me,
ok my dad vent on the vacation last weak so i decided to take his car for a lil ride,

Nice to see a brand-new Land Rover being used for the things it was designed for. Axle articulation looks pretty good- I just hope the traction control works as intended with a wheel in the air- or you've got the rear locking differential

I've just started seeing the new Discovery (as the LR3 is called anywhere except North America) where I live- I've tracked down a green one and a silver one, both TdV6 Manual SE models. The green one has been muddy everytime I've seen it and it must only be a few weeks old, so that obviously has gone to a good home.

I used to be dubious about the looks of the Disco- in the photos it always looked to big, bland and bus-like, but I've seen several 'in the flesh' and they look totally different- must be the neastest Discovery yet, and a great engine/transmission line up.

the car is amazing,i like it alot me and my dad we gona take it off roadin together.
and im old enough to take it out,or to drive a car like an M3,my parent trust me,by the way im 21 years old.

jesusfreak you and your fathershould be proud that your probabily among the very few that bought an LR3 with the intention it would get dirty by your own hands and not by accident, and my to cents "it's only a car" thats always nice to say but after looking at your car after you rolled it it still hurts like a son of a bi*^h at first and only after time that you can go back to saying it's only a car.

Interesting to see the LR3 off road, their launch here in UAE is delayed at the moment due to technical reasons linked to I believe cooling, not that it is a problem at the moment with temperatures barely hitting 20C.

Looking forward to trying one out on the sand.

And then he has the audacity to brag about it by posting pics on the internet along with the beamer he got for Christmas? If you were my kid, your ass would be in an orphanage.

I know several 17 years olds in the area that have E46 M3 that are loaded with all sorts of aftermarket goodies..

Look fellas.. if the guy's father can afford to buy his son a nice car... don't hate him for it! Heck if I had a car like that when I was 21 I would have been happy as hell.. or wrapped it around a pole.

I think a lot of the hate comes from jealousy... that's my .0000283517 cents worth.

But Jesusfreak.. I would work on the spelling and grammar if I were you..

I go with Serg on this one but would like to add that there are worse things that people with money do on a regular basis that make me sick. If Daddy's got and doesn't mind you driving it then so be it. Who would I be and what right would I have to tell you or your family how or what to spend your money on. Just if you get to hang out with Paris H tell her that I would look great on her.

No offense Serge, but I dont hate the kid nor am I jealous...and I am fairly certain I have as much loot or more than daddy. I am also certain character is a dying breed.
