I just finished with this project thanks to contributions and tips found here. I had a hard time to find the right (perfect fitment) hose for lower radiator. This is the best fitment so far for only $9.00 at my local Advanced Autoparts. 70848 (length code B) I hope this helps the rest of us.

So, I have a question for you. Did you do a before and after test of your coolant system, 10 minute idle, in town driving and highway speeds, if so what were your numbers?

I live in Miami, FL. Temps around 90's now. My truck has ~ 110k miles running without a/c and always premium fuel. Before: Temps were just mid gauge position.
Yesterday, I did a short round trip thru Xpressway and idle for around 20 minutes to make sure it was running properly. I added a bottle of Water Wetter plus mix of Walmart (.64 cents a gallon) distilled water 70% and antifreeze (Autozone Peak something) 25%. No bleeding valve. I can tell my truck runs fresher now. Plus, temp is just under mid gauge without a/c. I am ready for summer. Snorkel prep on the way for hurricane season! Sorry, I have no numbers or scangauges.

You never use the factory temp gauge to judge the engines temp, it hits that mark at 150 degrees and won't move to 230 plus degrees.
