Jiffy Lube Broke My Rover

Why do you still have the old filter? It should not be in the car, and only kept as evidence for your court case against Jiffy Lube.

What you should have done was go out and buy an air filter the same day and kept the receipt for court proving that you had to buy an air filter because they did not replace yours, and taken digital timedated photos of the watersoaked old filter. Then put the old filter in the trunk ffor now.

If you could not have figured that much out alone, or even with the help of your parents; you are truly lost, and need to not drive a Rover to begin with. You are in way over your head by owning such a mechanically needy vehicle, with such little common sense and/or practical mechanical experience.

Okay.

I started the car.
It cranked fine.
Ran smooth.
No lights or warnings are popping up.

I think Ian was right.

Seems everything works fine now.

No harm no foul.

But I'm def getting a free filter from those guys at Jiffy Lube.

Ok well my car is running fine "Thank God"

But heres the icy on the cake.

I got my tires rotated and balanced right?

Well I check all 4 tires pressure they were all 20 PSI.
I laughed so hard.
So I filled both front to 30 psi and both rear to 38 psi.

God the last owner of this car was a failure and so are the "mechanics"

I think I'm going to get all new spark-plugs, brake fluid, steering fluid, and coolant.

My shop is located in a college town. When some of my female friends stop into my shop and ask me where to get their oil changed(save the jokes)or where to get their VEHICLES serviced, I send them to the small TRUSTED mom and pop shop behind me as we dont do major repair work. Some of them will balk that they are more expensive. I tell them to go to one of the cheap, $9.99 will fix every problem your car has shops and let me know how that works out. It amazes me how many of these outfits operate on the stupidity and lack of knowledge on the consumers part. They give honest shops a bad name and flood the industry with a bunch of hacks. I am not trying to knock any of the younger rover experts on here, but my guess is a seasoned veteran rover mechanic will have forgotten more than any of the 16 year old punks at "Jiffy Bend you over and not even grease you up" will ever know.

As far as servicing college girls other needs, I reccomend keeping that in house....

There are a lot of fringe benefeits of living in a college town :drink1: Doubt my current gf will be looking on here! Land Rover should buy some of the pics I have. When a man looks back on his life, he has to have memories, and that Rover hood was popular!!!! Bull bars can be used for more than one kind of bush....

I'm pretty sure if Bushranger started a thread of just the pictures of girls on his rover that it would be the most popular thread ever.

And by popular I mean Visits not Replies.

If you dont think ill get flagged, I have a plethora I could add to the archives. It was hard finding pics that are appropriate;) For a man whos average at best, I have had my share of boyant moments.... Its def a rover thing. My cureent gf doesnt like when I refer to my Bushranger as the "Bushgetter" I have some pics from a recent car show I will post soon for those who have asked. I am in the process of molding (6) 7" monitors into the dash which will give me 360 degree viewing angles, a hard top with gullwing doors will come this winter if the Outback Steakhouse doesnt make me an offer I cant refuse.

If you're going to post pics, don't post pics of ugly bitches. Those last two are not even 12-pack material.

Not Super Models.
The first was above average.
The second one was about average.
