Yes, if you run the lift full-time you will need a realignment. Spacers would be a good idea too, but that's another batch of fitment issues. I run 275/65-18 duratracs full-time and only use the rods when off-road. There are a couple minor modifications to the LR3. One 'fix' is move the driver front ride height sensor wire from the side of the frame to the top of frame rail - just need a couple zip ties. @nd is only if you have 3rd row heat and its a little more work, but worth the hour of effort to preserve handling.

How is the ride quality and handling? When you say spacers do you mean wheel spacers or suspension spacers? Any pictures of your LR3?

Spacers cause the wheel to move further into the wheel wells when turned full and thus different fitment issues.

Duratracs ride great - make sure you get load range "e" tires. No harshness and they were quite for the 1st 30K miles then got louder. At 46K I replaced them because of the noise, but still had 40% tread so kept two for spares.

With the 275-65-18 tire you don't have to have spacers. Moving the sensor wire to the top of the rail is a good idea to prevent it from getting rubbed by the tire. An alignment is necessary for full time use. I recommend full time with that size tire. The ride quality is still excellent and it looks better to have some space in the well. The Duratracs are a great off road tire. I use the GY MTR but the load rating is better on the Duratrac.LR3 Lift Kit - Johnson Rods - Range Rover Sport Lift Kit

If using Johnson Rods LR3 Lift Kit - Johnson Rods - Range Rover Sport Lift Kit and 275/65-18's are there any known issues with alignments? I'm thinking of installing a set when we get our LR3. What about ride quality and handling? On our DII with a 2" Terrafirma lift and 265/75-16's the vehicle did drive different. Not quite as stable at highway speeds(75-80 mph).

I run 285/65r18 Trail Grapplers with half inch wheel spacers...if you do not realign, the tires will often pinch in and lead to unbalanced wear on your tires. It is in your best intrest to get a realignment with fitting bigger tires on the LR
