Mud, in Russian, is still MUD. That guy knows his trucks. bit far for you to collect tho, no?
I suppose... on close inspection of the pic.. Its only really got a winch and some huge tyres. Possibilly wider track too..

See the damage to the wing and the missing section of bull bar

Looks like both cars there have the same home made snorkel as mine :D All my mates said it was silly but they look identical ;)

Is that a lada next to it  bet it couldnt follow the landrover everywhere it went :drive:
The vehicle next to it is probably a GAZ, and it can go where the Landy goes provided the driver knows what he is doing
Go anywhere a landrover can  are my eyes deciving me?

This cant be tru surly :dunno:

Landrover.. the best 4x4xfar :drive:
That's my Russian bretheren for ya.... I think that's a GAZ as well...

Serg
Dont fancy that winch cable wrapped round the bull bar like that. but the guy obvously likes his mud , Maybe not too keen on trees though! even if the motor likes to get close to them too often
the Truck next to the Landy is a Ural B10 (If I am not Mistaken)

A fairly good product about the size of a 109. Had either a 2.5 L 4 cyl petrol motor (unlicenced copy of a Chev motor) or a 3L 4cyl Diesel.
4 Speed box, Full time 4WD, High & low ratios.

Build for the "old" soviet army, we also found them here in Angola during the Bush war. they were quite capable of doing any work, however as they were biuld to operate in Russia and Europe so they very easely overheated (The cooling system here not up to the heat and sandy terrain of Angola.) Finish was equal to about a Series 2. Very Basic and build for the army.

Build in various other countries Like Poland and even China (Known as the BJC).

This one however looks like it had some mods done to it (Snorkel, Mag wheels and what looks like a headrest on the front seats) It might be that the Russians build them for the civilian market after the fall of Communism, I dont know?
i have a few buddies that went to my high school that had lifted d90's that looked kinna like that, not nearly as muddy though. They were wimps and hardly ever took them off-road. we had a 4x4 trail that ran between our soccer and football fields that went behind a nearby neighborhood, we would always go wheelin after school and before football practice, d90's hold their own against heavy duty lifted diesels, bronco's, and tahoe's.

doesn't surprise. those things are designed for towing. wicked stiff suspension, hugely long wheelbases. They weren't designed for off-road use. The D90 sure as hell was/is!
Great looking 90. Looks loike our Russian Bros know how to have much fun as anyone else!!!!! COOL :buttrock:
