haha. IT WAS! we didnt want to spend $75 per rim on powder coating since we got em for $40 each. atleast it looks good, for now.....

well, we used rust oleum clean metal primer and metallic paint. both available at most retail stores.

Ive got to say the only black rims I like on a LR are those on the yellow ones like the Disco Serg is selling.

However, its all subjective and thats just my opinion. Your trucks look awesome either way.

looks very nice and clean, send more pics after you take it off road and see how they hold up. Maybe a few coats of clearcoat or some sort of protectant would help preserve the finish at a low cost.
