I am heading off to China in a couple of weeks and may have some time. Does anyone know if Land Rovers are sold on mainland China?
If so I would like to swing by and pick up a hat or something with Land Rover on it BUT in Chinese instead of English..........

Call me wondering

Iv been to China and Hong Kong a few year ago. Back the there were no landrovers in china and a few in Hong Kong. (the police still used them, must be left over from the British days)
In fact the only european cars I ever saw in china was Mercides Benzes!

Your best bet for such stuff will be Hong Kong but i dought if it even exsist.

We just got back from China ten days ago. I only saw two Land Rovers on the mainland: a Disco of unknown year and a Freelander SE3 in the parking lot of our hotel in Beijing. No evidence of a Land Rover dealership anywhere but we did see dealerships for most other brands on Wuhan's "auto row".

Lots more LRs in Hong Kong so your chances there will be better.

I read an article a few months back,,I think it was in a U.K. LR Mag,,about LR clubs in China & a growing market among China's well-to-do for LRs. I'll try to find it & give you the details. Try looking on the web-sites for Land Rover Owner Int'l.
