I've been having a battery drain issue with my 2004 D2 recently and intend get to the bottom of that. However my key fob remote has stopped working, I have to use the key in the lock to lock/unlock the doors. Is there a correlation between my recent dead car battery and my remote not working?? PS; I've changed the key fob battery just to be sure, no change.
Thanks

I bet your problem stems from your battery drain.
First fully charge up your battery, then search for parasitic draws in your electrical system and then that will partially help sort out your key fob issues.
Let Eric show you the way...
