1987 Land Rover Defender 110 pickup recently imported from the UK

This truck is in fantastic shape. Comes complete with Clean VA title and all shipping and customs clearing documents.
Body and chassis
Before shipping from the UK, the body was lifted from the chassis, any necessary repairs were done before painting. The body has been restored and repainted in a Matt green finish which looks amazing. We also replaced the grill and headlight surrounds. The suspension was also upgraded with new shock absorbers. The original wheels had been refurbished and the tires have plenty of tread.
Interior
The interior has new exmoor trim covers and centre cubby box all in excellent condition. All the instruments, switches and heater work as they should. The footwells and seat boxes are free from rust.
Engine and Gearbox
The 2.5 TD (19J) engine runs well, there is a small amount of smoke at start up which quickly clears. This 110 also has power steering which makes for a more relaxed feel, we also replaced the power steering box before export. Glow plugs work well, engine starts from cold in 5 seconds. The mileage will increase slightly as I'm using it daily. Can be put on a lift at a local Land Rover specialist if required.
This pick up is completely ready to go and really stands out on the road. It's really lovely 110.
