I had a problem where my cruise control suddenly stopped working that I couldn't figure out. Turns out installing an LED 3rd brake light bulb had stopped the cruise control from functioning and removing the bulb and replacing with a regular incandescent fixed the problem. I wanted to post this tip for others as another fix to think of before you start checking vacuum lines, etc.

In order to keep your CC working when you add LED lights to either the brake lights, you will have to solder in parallel a 50 Watt/6 Ohm resistor and mount it to metal for heat dissipation. This is what I had to do.
brake lights (1 resistor required)...

Adding a resistor for both left and right side turn signals will keep the newly installed LED lights from hyperflashing...
