Hi all, what are the two clear lenses above the indicators for? When I put my lights on, the driver's side one of these lights illuminates along with the lights. The other side does nothing so before I delve into what the problem is, I'd like to know what the hell they're for! Thanks.

Here's a photo of the front of my 110

Upper amber light is what you call a Side Light (which never made sense to me since it's on the front) and your's are usually clear.
Lower amber light is what we call a turn signal, which you call an indicator.

LOL. I got confused cos I couldnt imagin how anyone would need to ask what they were. So I thought it must have been another set of lights Id ont seen before.

The trouble we have with sidelights in this country is that some idiots think that when there is bad visability (but not really bad) they think its ok to just put their side lights on. If they go to the effort of putting on their side lights why dont they just push the lever a little bit more and put on main beam (dip) so we can see the damn stupid idiots in the dark!!! :complain:

So anyway. Both lights are meant to be on when the lights are on. You've probably just got a bulb blown but it could be a fuse. The fuses in most landrovers are sided. Not sure if any newer landrovers are fitted with parking lights so the nearside light is on all night when you are parked?
