Hey im new here. Just bought a 96 Disco SE7 with lift, brush guard, roof rack, borla exhaust. I was in love since the first time I sat in a land rover.

On to my question, the keys that came with it were 2 copies. I can't get the door locks to work right. If I push the lock down with the door open they all electrically go down, then pop right back up. If I put the key in the door and turn it nothing happens on the driver side. If i put it in the passenger side, doesn't fit too well but it will lock the passenger door only. Is there a trick to it? Thanks in advance!

The answer to your 1st question is:- It's normal.
Your second question I'm not sure of. Are you saying you that you have got the door open and the keys won't work, or, you have got the door closed and the key won't work?
The answer to your 3rd question is:- It's normal. you cannot lock all your doors from the passanger side.

If I get out and put the key in the drivers side and turn it with the door shut, nothing happens, if i open the door up and push the lock down all the locks go down, but then pop right back up. If i'm inside with all the doors shut, and press the lock down, they all lock and stay down.
