Does anyone have any thoughts about ARB bull bars? I am looking in to putting one on my 2004 Disco. Also does ARB make good side steeps and do they help protect the truck or does it just look nice. Can I live with out it? I know the wife would like me to have them.

Bird,
Still hoping to see some pictures some day.
As for the ARB, I usually don't down play a product but their bumpers are pretty light duty, see attached picture of a friends bumper. Might want to look at the TJM bumpers, look good and they are quite strong, you can find them on the Expedition Exchange web site.
As for the steps, they do nothing for preventing body damage, all they do is get torn off if you hit a rock. Might want to look at Rovertym's web site, they offer some great sliders.
Take care,
Mike J.

Look at that tree stump blocking the axle... No wonder the bumper bent!

Thank's for the info!

Hey guy's thank's for all the info. I took a real long hard look at all the web sites. And I took a hard look at the bank acount, and how much I go off roading and were I go. Most of my off roading is in sand and mud not much deeper than my hubs. I go through small brush and over small palm and banana trees. As for the steeps, I am getting them mostly for the wife. That is why I can get the bull bar. And they sit up a little higher and it will not kill my ground clearence like some of the other steeps I saw. I get what I want and she gets what she needs. The other reasn I will stick with ARB is because there is a 4 wheel shop here and I can get a good cost on the shipping. Living in paradice has a price!! Like no real shopping on the net. No free delivery. And gas being over $2.36 on base.
Mike as for the photos. I am tring to get them down to size that I can post. I have a 6 meg pix digital camera and the photos are hard to make smaller. That and I have been busy the last few weeks.

I also have a 6 megapexl camera, don't alway shot at 6 but that's another story. To reduce the picures you must use the software in your computer, reduce it down to a 240X320 size and then you can drop it on the web site.
Good luck with the truck,
Mike
