An extreme amount of more details Might help....yeah the waters low and it overheats, what's wrong? Lol. Start by looking at it then tell us something. Why would you jump straight to head gaskets?
So far your at 1000's of possible causes...try to narrow it down some....lmao
Yes, that's right. Don't do any testing, or diagnosis, or any of the usual tests for head gasket failure. Just assume it's the head gasket and rip the engine apart.
I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, I'm going to assume it's Ebola. Always assume the worst.
Exhaust has a good amount of moisture in it. Losing coolant fairly quickly. I can drive about 2-3 miles and then I get the overheating beginning. seems to overheat on load. Idles well in driveway
Have flushed system and used Rave procedure to bleed out air.
New Thermostat (recently new)
Water pump was replaced in January
Yes it is a good testing device. Chemical test to detect hydrocarbons in the coolant. Doesnt rule it out but, if positive, does identify it as the culprit. I guess the oil doesn't have water in it...milky oil?
Had this problem about a year ago....turns out it was a stuck thermostat..replaced, all better now
