Okay all you LR2 owners out there....apparently someone got fed up and a fililng is under way to open a class action suit regarding the battery drain that we all have been frustrated with in our LR2s that Landrover does nothing about except keep charging us for service and new batteries...

Mine was dead again after just two nights in the garage....I am getting good at jumping it since taking it to Landrover is a waste of money....

We have a 2009 LR2 and it has been doing it as well over the past 11 months.
We put in a new battery and that didn't change anything.
Replaced the RDiff at 80,000 had it break again at 102,000 and now the mechanic who fixed it gave it back to us with a crunching noise in the back end and after weeks at the shop he told us the Haldex Viscous Coupling needs to be replaced (and they aren't going to assume any responsibility for breaking it, even though it never made that noise until they were messing with the Rear Diff). They are telling us the Haldex unit is impossible to find and if they can find it is will be $6300 just for the part.

Of course Lr isn't going to do anything about it.... sigh... end rant.
