I have 52K miles on my '10 LR2 and was told my rotors and pads needed to be replaced. Mechanic used OEM parts and after driving it now it seems like I need to put more pressure on the brake than I did before they were replaced. Is this normal? Is there a break in period?

It's nothing alarming I just assumed my pedal would be "tighter" rather than looser.
