lr3 problems?

A friend of mine bought one a month ago and left 3 days ago towing a caravan across Australia from Perth to Cairns and back. When he gets back I will let you know how the car went,fuel economy etc he keeps acurate tabs on his fuel usage so it should be interesting. By the way it is a 2.7 diesel auto
Well, my experience has been this...every guy I've met that has one says, "Damn, I wish my wife would let me do that to this one" when they see my truck. And I have a 96. You should see the look on the wives' faces when they see me roll up next to their LR3 and talk to their hubby! Lifted, big tyres, dirty. :buttrock: The husband always looks back sheepishly at his wife.
