After getting a handle on several issues like throwing codes and a fuel pump and CPS replacement, I now have a problem with the MAF, it seems.

With the MAF connected, my DII runs quite poorly with struggling idling and nearly stalls. With it *disconnected* the truck runs great.

Possibly an issue with the ECU or another bad MAF (since I recently purchased it within the last year).

What is this?

I had a MAF fail exactly the same way several years ago. I would replace the MAF.

If you are not already aware look up the VW replacement. Same sensor you just have to swap the VW sensor into the LR MAF body. Much cheaper for same part.
