Does anyone know if you can have locks on the doors changed to match a new key? Say if you buy a replacement door handle and it comes with a different key. I don't want to carry two separate keys. I remember those days.

You can, but it is no cheap. A good locksmith can do it, but not the mom & pop shop on the corner.

Once you remove the handle from the door, the lock barrel is relatively easy to remove. You should be able to just take the barrel into a locksmith and he should be able to change the individual sections to suit. Or you could go and get a couple of barrels from a car that has keys and fit them.
Personally I would not even know if my keys actually fit the locks on the doors as I always use the fob.
