200 miles from home yesterday, I was driving through a town at about 30mph, when a message came up on the dash 'Select neutral', followed by 'Slow down'. These were repeating every few seconds, not quite panicking, I pulled into a carpark, slowed down, selected neutral but no change, so I stopped, had a think about it, pressed the 'LO' range button, heard the 'click' of engagement in the gearbox, drove a few metres in Low range, stopped again, re-engaged normal, another 'click' in the gearbox, message gone & I continued for the remaining 200 miles with no problem whatever, any ideas?? Its a '96 DHE. & everything seems to work fine.
