I have a new sound on my 1996 D1. Whenever I make a right turn or actually I have heard it during a left tight turn and awhile backing up, I hear a ringing metallic sound awhile the vehicle is rolling.

Any ideas of what it is??

Constant , only when turning. No sound going straight or right.

Have you checked your swivel balls???? Mine was doing this, balls were dry.......shame on you....bad thoughts.....

Check the above..... but this just occoured to me. Sometimes when the brakes are loose in the calliper, during tight turns, things begin to drag. This could cause this sound. Check them out. I will keep thinking........

I will find out next month, when I have the cash. First Gas Tank, then O2 sensors then ringing sound. Got it.
