So i have been chasing down and issue with My mirrows and interior lights not working. and have narrowed it down to the slate and white wire for the mirrors. There is no continuity between the mirror plug and the switch. Reading the RAVE i see that this connects through header C0285. I also see that this same header is involved in the interior lights circuit. I am making an assumpion that this header is the fault.
Can anyone tell me how to find it or where it is located on the vehicle. Tracing the wires is next to impossible. Any help on where to start looking would be great.

thanks in advance
Ian

Never mind, I found the section in the rave that has a picture of where it is.

ok, so i do need a little help with this. I have uncovered the connector C0285. If i am reading the RAVE correctly it looks like the 3 purple and Blue wires have come disconnected from pins 1,2 and 4. Am I reading this right that these 3 wires should be connected together. Does the linked pins in the picture mean that these pins should be joined together?

The connector is looking quite corroded and i don't want to be back in there for a while, would it be safe to remove teh connector and just connect the wires together as they would be but without the connector?
