That's the best copilot: doesn't say anything, and at the end of the day, whatever you've done, wherever you've gone, he's kept the beer cold.

Great shots! Looking pretty mean in that one shot (#5)

There were about 24 rovers on this trip. Took us about 8 hours to do a 5 hour trail b/c of stopping and waiting for people to get over or around obstacles. I wasn't too happy. I like to set camp around 4 pm so there is time for happy hour.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm beeeeeeer......... and oh yeah great pics! :D

No seriously the trails look great. Your lucky to have access to trails like that!Nice flex out of the front axle, what do you have done besides the lift?

Suspension wise..not a whole lot. Just have rear spring retainers. I have a video of the trip too. During the trip and even on the video, you can hear this other guy's retaining cones making a hellava lot of noice. Man, I will NEVER use those cones, ever. I would rather use EE's retaining devices all around - which I have on the rear.

Otherwise, I have stripped as much off as I can. Bare bones. Just picked up a Brownchurch roof rack, TJM rear bumper, diff guards, and front skid plate, all of which I have yet to install. Just the usual engine stuff like magnecore wires, +4 plugs, K&N air and oil filters. Trimmed the rear quarter panels to stuff the 265/75/16 MT's. Next time around, I will stick with the same size tire but go more aggressive.

I am hoping to run this trail again before it snows.

I was thinking about going with a kit that has the dislocation cones lowered mounts front and rear, but money is kind of tight right now. But s##t if your truck is getting that kind of flex just with springs and shockers I think that is going to be my route! The only thing I have done is removed the front and rear swaybars( big improvement IMO ). What size?type of lift are you running?

Sorry, must've fell asleep last night before I saw this one. I have a 2" OME lift, which includes the springs, shocks, and spring retainers. I will be getting upper spring retainers in the near future. Cones are too noisy IMO, all that clanking had me worried that the guy kept breaking something...and if something did break, how would he know it over the noise of the cones???

Thanks FunRover. I would like to make a trip out next year to meet some of you guys in a MOAB run.

You know what.. I love it when we have large groups of people show up because its great to talk to everyone and see everyones rig.. but it's sometimes a pain in the ass.. a few months ago we went to Paragon in PA.. I think we had 15 or so trucks.. the whole day we ran maybe 5 trails.. I went 2 weeks later with 4 other trucks (all modded), we ran more in the first 2 hours then we did the first time..

How do you take pictures and drive at the same time??? :buttrock:

If you go to the thread called Cool Rover Pic in this section, you will see Shrek right behind my truck. Will's bro-in-law Greg comes along on the trips and takes video and pics of the trail runs. I have a video of this trip and for part of it Greg is sitting on top of Shrek's roof rack taking video and pics.

Ever thought of beefing up the pushbar? Looks like you could make good use of a stronger bar up front
